You’ll learn how to understand sewing machines, get experience of using different stitch types, learning about stitch lengths, widths and tensions and how to finish a seam. We will explain what the different presser feet are for and you’ll learn how to use a pattern, measure and cut fabric, create and finish a button hole and will make an envelope cushion.

Who is this aimed at?
If you are an Absolute Beginner and have never used a sewing machine before we highly recommend our Taster Session before committing to The Beginners Class.
Course arrangements
All sewing equipment will be provided. Fabric shears, small embroidery-type scissors for trimming and snipping threads, tape measure (cm), ruler, pins, chalk pencils/fabric marking pens.
Please bring with you a notebook and Pen to write down any notes.
When you book, we will send you an e-mail containing a note of what you need to bring, travel and parking directions, and how to find The Blossom Club. Please watch for that e-mail and if you haven’t received it within a few days, check your spam folder.
The class will start promptly at the scheduled time so please arrive 5 minutes early to allow time to settle
