During the 3 hour workshop you'll learn how to shorten or lengthen trouser hems, how to take in at the waist and how to shorten a basic skirt/dress and shorten a basic top sleeve length.

Please bring any of the following items - or all :

• Trousers (no jeans as this a different type of hem to turn up)

• A plain unlined skirt or dress

• A basic top with sleeves that you'd like to shorten

Course arrangements

All sewing equipment will be provided.  Fabric shears, small embroidery-type scissors for trimming and snipping threads, tape measure (cm), ruler, pins, chalk pencils/fabric marking pens. 

Please bring with you a notebook and pen to write down any notes.

When you book a course online, we will send you an e-mail containing a note of what you need to bring, travel and parking directions, and how to find The Blossom Club.  Please watch for that e-mail and if you haven’t received it within a few days, check your spam folder.

The class will start promptly at the scheduled time so please arrive 5 minutes early to allow time to settle
